An unlucky defeat to Malahide United
Saturday morning started out cool, but the weather got quickly warmer and the day turned into a scorcher. Our match against Malahide trurned out to be just as much of a scorcher. Malahide were first to settle down and managed to sneak in four lucky goals in quick succession. The Castleknock team managed to regroup and came back strongly, but despite our pressure we went into half time trailing 4-0.
In the second half our man of the match Omar Emara managed to score a goal to bring the score back to 4-1.
Castleknock continued to attack strongly, but were unlucky to concede a late goal so that the match ended in a 5-1 defeat.
